I have been carrying her around since ever, and even though lately she has been quite on the shelve she is not shelved.

It was a gift from my father that has irreversibly changed the way I look at my surroundings, the way I interact with them. It has given me a world of pleasure and wonder. Everything started with that beautiful sound...

My experience with a Rolleicord has been nothing less than love at first sight.

I found mine on the internet through an auction website and being my first buy I decided to take a look at the goods before cashing out. I wrote to the seller and arranged a meeting for next saturday. He lived about 100 km from my place in a small village down south, which meant I had to take the train, a bus and walk 2 km to his house, I was loving it already...

I´m a sucker for train and bus rides, and walking... well, I won´t even start with that. Anyhow, I got there, on schedule, and ringed the bell. Then, this 80 plus year old, very rugged skin dutch gentlemen, opened the door and invited me in. He walked me to his carpeted living room and there I found her, among all the other old cameras laying around she was the one staring at me.

After a couple of hours of a very interesting conversation and some cups of tea, I left the house with my new camera. I was silent as I walked down the street, but shouting in my mind.

A new photographic chapter had began...
